Langkawi Island

We “fly” recently…it was the first time for me, hubby and Sarah to board on plane and we headed to Langkawi Island for holiday.

It was a new experience for us as a first-time flyers and the trip was fun too! I’ve been there about 14 years ago, but this time of course is more enjoyable being with my family members.

When we asked Sarah what she likes the most during the 3D2N trip, she answered:” beach-lor”.

Compared to the previous outing to PD and Bagan Lalang, Sarah’s changed a lot; she now love to play with the water and the waves so much. Our resort was direct facing the beach so she kept pestering me to bring her to seaside!

Although Sarah feeling not so well the moment we touched down to KL and I fall ill too, but it was still an unforgettable vacation for all of us.

KizSports & Gym

I think Sarah has addicted in those big set of indoor playground; she just couldn’t get enough after Critterland.

There was once we went to the top floor of Empire Shopping Gallery and spotted the KizSports & Gym; due to late hours, we intend to only come back on the following week…but as expected, she protested and cried.

Pity her, so we kept our promise and brought her there the next week. Although their play set is not as big as Megakidz or Critterland but Sarah still manage to enjoy her time there. The place is clean and spacious.

As we were checking out from the outlet, Sarah was shocked when she saw a clown at the nearby function room. She dislikes clown.

She covered her eyes and we left home.

Ears Piercing

Sarah finally got her ears pierced, at 4 years and 7 months old.

It all started with her curiosity about my earlobe holes few months ago, during our bedtime chat. At that time, she was still hesitated about the piercing and I did not force her as I thought she is still young (mine was done at the age of seven).

Last Saturday night we touch on the same topic once again; I get surprised that she was agreeable this time and was super excited about it. I even “rehearsed” with her by pinching her earlobe with my finger nails!

Then finally the day cometh… we coolly walk into the shop and Sarah gets to choose her earring before the ear-piercers pierced both her ears simultaneously. We were relieved and happy that the process done in a very smooth manner; no fuss and no tears.

We are extremely proud of Sarah. It just a little piece of accessories on her ears but somehow it makes me feel like she has grown up so much.

Hot Air Balloon 2012 (Backdated Post)

I know it’s a bit late, but I want this post to serve as a reminder for us NOT go to Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fest again next year. Why? Read on…

To make up for the miss two years ago, we bring Sarah to the Balloon Fest again this March. This time, my sisters and their family followed along.

We went on the second day of the event, and we totally did not expect such a huge crowd has turned up. The massive jam started few kilometers away from the destination; imagine, we were stuck in the jam for about an hour and the sky started turned dark.

And then parking is another nightmare, but luckily the weather turned better in the end. We saw quite a lot of hot air balloons; yet Sarah was not so excited seeing them. She showed boring face until I bought her a Dora helium balloon.

I told hubby that next year we might give it a miss. Frankly speaking, the traffic suck (big time) and it is quite bored!
