Mid-Autumn Festival 2012

Happy belated Mid-Autumn Festival to all of you!

What a joyous Mooncake-fest we had this year; with the “duo celebration”, one at neighbour’s house and another one held at my parent’s place.

At Chui Lee’s house…
Celebrate the day with neighbours and their kids were a memorable one. This was the first time we organized such event and it turned out delightfully; the adults were (busy) chatting and the kids play late into the night…at the end, we were already planning the next gathering.

“月亮圆” lead by the host of the event

At Parent’s house…
I have set up a tiny fire pit for the kids with carrots, cucumbers, rice and oranges. This real life cooking experience was the first for Sarah and I enjoy seeing her squatted down tirelessly for hours in playing the “masak-masak” with her cousin and the neighbour’s kid.

Of course, we’ll never forget to light up the lanterns and enjoying the foods. I can tell everybody is enjoying the bonding.

Mooncake-fest is all about togetherness; celebrated with families and friends are what give us the real joy.

“Lantern Walk” with her friends.
