Meeting “Multiply” Friends

Since I began blogging in Multiply three years ago, I’ve never meet anyone of them before until the recent Chinese New Year.

Thanks to an invitation from Ai Peng to her Chinese New Year open house, for the very first time, I met up with my Multiply Blogging friends.

She and her husband is a friendly nice host; we felt so comfortable being their guest. During the dinner started, I met Maggie and Leann too. It’s remarkable how quickly we all ease into a natural and easy rhythm of conversation, like we see each other before.

It was a nice gathering but too bad being chicken-hearted, Sarah was frightened over the loud bang from the firecrackers being played outside the house, so we have to head home earlier.

It is always my pleasure to meet blogger friends, and hope to meet you all soon, my friend.

Bug Bite

“Oh My Goodness” were the words I uttered when I first saw Sarah as I picked her up from school. Her right eye was swollen! Further checking with her condition, it seems like she did not feel itchy or I should say, she does not even aware her upper eyelid has started swelling.

So the next stop, clinic.

Sarah’s condition getting worse on next day (the medicine and cream has slow effect); she can barely open her eyes widely and I can tell that she had some tough time seeing things.

Again, another visit to doctor and anti-inflammation medicine was prescribed this time.

As for today, we are so relieved that the swelling has almost gone and hopefully she can go back to school on Monday.

Bento Fun

I fall in love in doing simple bento for Sarah; trying to create different colours and taste with food then arranged it nicely in the meal box satisfied me. I am also glad that Sarah has given me a lot of ideas of what food to bring to school by peeking at her classmate’s lunch.

Clever girl.

Sarah’s school work also a CNY theme

P/S: Thanks KC for your lovely pinkish shirt; it fits well on Sarah, and it suits well for the festival.
