Animals
I don’t know about your kids but Sarah is easily confused between these two animals - lion and tiger.
Daddy has hard time telling her the obvious difference, one has stripes and the other doesn’t; yet she still says “Tiger” when she saw a lion or vice versa.
I think she got it from me. It was funny to know even her mommy also has the similar confusion. But after some “re-education” by hubby, now I no longer mixed up the tiger with female lion.
Numbers
13, 14, 16, 17… That’s how Sarah recites her numbers. She started good from one up to 14, but later she will skip 15.
When told to read out the 15, she was puzzled; she will then said 13, 14, 15, 17…
I think her mind has way to play tricks with her somehow.

Give Sarah some time, I believe she is able to differentiate tiger and lion one day.

No worry, kids at this stage do have some confusion in certain areas. They will gradually overcome this in later stage.
Hahahha...my girl is exactly the same :) She was initially confused between the two animals too...and always skips 16 when she is counting...I think it's normal for kids their age :)
Have fun!!!
Yup, my kids are confuse with lion and tiger, too!~~~~~~
About the numbering part, they even count: twenty, twenty-ten, twenty-eleven, twenty-twelve.......
Guess it's pretty normal to get confuse for kids..
Kylie and King Yin:
High Five!
Your kids also confused with Lion and Tiger. Hmm..I wonder is it due to these animals have the same roaring sound and they are the most fierce animals, that's why kids easily got the confusion.
Kylie:
I like how the number being counted..So cute but creative:-)
King Yin:

As I told other mommies, I am glad to see Sarah started showed improvement in differentiating btw the animals. Good!
Yes true....not to get confused again, I ask our kids to spot the differences between these two animals especially the stripes of the tiger.
Ummi:
Yes, the stripes are the most obvious difference.
Luckily Sarah would not confuse Tiger and Zebra, kekekek!
my girl also count with 1 or 2 number missing in between.
Hui Li:
