Diaper-Free…sort of

I’ve long been eager to wean off Sarah from diaper completely; before I know it, this thing has come to pass recently…

When I was about to change Sarah on diaper for her nap, she told me that she doesn’t want it! She said she has the “sticky” feeling when she is wearing diaper; so I know that will be the indicator she’s ready for “diaper-less”.

Of course, there will be times she still pees on the bed (only two times, to be exact), but I strongly believe this is only a transition period. We shall hang in there.

i used motivation on my girl and it worked. After being dry for 10 nights, I got her a gift.

Joanne, it is good to train her. But remember don;t scold her if she pee on bed. She needs some time to adjust the feel (without diaper)!

hang in there.

My J also gone diaperless recently. Quite surprising as all done within a month by himself.

I think Sarah know that she is ready to be diaperless now.

Kids are very good nowadays. They will self-wean when they are ready so no worries ya, mummy!

Btw, regarding your question about the kiwi fruit, I usually just cut into half and then scoop with a spoon to eat. Too lazy to peel the skin hehe :)

Is ok..you are not lazy, coz sometimes I am doing the same too.

Our girl is diaperless during the day at home...but still on-diaper when she is at school. However our boy can tell if he wants to pee but he is still learning to tell when he wants to do the 'big biz' although he is already soiled.

I have to toilet train them during the december sch holidays...and by Jan next year they should be diaperless at sch...all the best to you and me !

Habibati's kindy allowed kids wearing diaper to school?
The kindies here mostly do not allowed. Therefore parents gotto train the kids to diaperless.
- Good start for Habibi. At least he is learning to inform you once he has the feeling to pass motion. Give him some time yeah!
- Yea, hopefully our kids will fully diaperless soon.

It'll be much easier to train her to sleep w/o diaper when she's ready. Looks like she's having great progress. Well done, Sarah!

Yes...for the kindergarten 1 children...they are still aloowed to be on diaper. But as soon as they get to KG 2 and 3...it is not advisable...

So let's pray together that our kids will be diaperLESS as soon as possible :)

Ummi:
I see. Is good too to let the kids have time to adapt themselves with totally diaperless..
- Hehe, I am happy that lately Sarah did notpee on her bed day and night, and she will also awake me if she really wants to wee wee:-)

Slavemom:
Is true, once she is ready, the process can be speed up as compared as to 'forcing' her diaperless.
- So far so good! Sarah did not wee wee on her bed for weeks:-)

Is really not that easy for the first few days when started the "diaper free" process, but now refresh back, it is all worth it.
