Egg-Coated Bread

I am sure most of you know the recipe very well. This was my modified version of Egg-Coated Bread; instead of eating it plain, I advice Sarah to dip a little strawberry jam and “Kaya”.

Overall, it was a nice try, Sarah and I love it…especially with “Kaya”. But one thing is Sarah need to be careful with the texture of the bread, as it is quite dry and sometimes she almost gets chocked.

I used to make this too for my kid. Just plain bread coated with egg that mixed with a bit of salt/sugar. Yummy

Your husband loves it? My husband prefer bread with butter and jam.

Wenn:
Yea, it is absolutely easy to make.

Mery:
How about Ryan? He loves it?
Is it because the bread has been pan fried, so it will cause heatiness to you?

Rose:
Welcome to my blog!
Egg with sugar...sounds tasty! Must try it next time. Thanks!

You are very creative mommy..
If I am not wrong, you used the vcookie cutter to cut the bread into nice shape right? I have seen it in your blog.

Adrine:
I am afraid the bread is too oil for Sarah too, that's I just used very little butter to pan fry the bread and later to pat dry the oil before serving to Sarah.

Ummi,
I am thinking maybe due to the bread has been pan fried, so it will cause heatiness?

Hi Joanne,
even though you hentam recipe but still look good and delicious. Carol got a garbage stomach also, and I'm trying to vary her food. However, she's not that good in chewing yet. Yesterday gave her corn, so funny looking at her trying to munch, keep everything in her mouth like a hamster, than some cannot swallow she just spit it out....apala

Hi Alice,
You really cheer my day with your comment, hehe.
Talking about the food which I cooked for Sarah (the bb food), I am glad that I have found some bb food websites which gave me some idea and ref when I first prep solid food for her.
- Is good you know that Carol eats most of the food. In this case, is easier for us and hopefully she will not picky in food later.
- To be honest, till now Sarah also not good in chewing. Therefore, since she was small till this moment, we have to bring a pair of scissors together with her cutlery when we are dining outside. That will be easier for us to cut the food in smaller portion.
- I love corn too, and I will encourage Sarah to eat more of it. - I can imagine how Carol tried to munch the corn. Did you take pic of her? Must be cute!
