Chocolate “Cupcakes”

First of all, I have to confess that I’ve made a “fatal” mistake in buying a muffin tray, when what I really want to do is bake a cupcake!

I know, it doesn’t looked “tall” enough to be a cupcake, but the texture and taste is just right for me…although hubby and sisters commented that the cakes are lack of sweetness.

Anyhow, this is my first try, and I’m actually satisfied with the result.

Looks not bad la...
Last time I did bought a muffin tray, wanna make blueberry muffin, but too bad the tray size is too bad and can't fit my MIL's oven, Till now the tray is lying in the cabinet for nothing and I bought the tray all the way from Singapore.

Dear all mommies,
You all are really kind, give a nice comment about my "cupcake" presentation. Thanks yeah!
Actually I really feel it looks short. But who to blame, me lah! Bought the wrong tray!

Kathy:
Yeap, I dislike food which is too sweet.

Jenny:
Actually I did google search the pics of cupcake and muffin tray. Seems like cupcake tray has a deeper "hole" than cupcake.

Shenny's Mommy:
Sarah only ate one. She seldom "supports" me! Sad!

Mery:
Same lah..I also bought my first muffin tray but it is too big, can't fit in my oven too.
- Is ok. Maybe you can buy a smaller one and bake your tasty muffin.

I have only one pan/tray for making muffins and cupcakes, aren't they suppose to use the same pan? Please enlighten me.

Nice baking, the chocolate cupcakes look delicious!

Oh yes, the muffin tray seems a little bit shallow for the cup cakes, maybe next time you can try with oven proof cups or mugs!

p/s: My girl(also 3 y.o) loves cupcakes too!

I have saw your muffin at your blog. Yours one definitely look much better than mine, interms of height, taste and etc.
I did google search the pic of muffin and cupcakes pan, seems like cupcakes pan has a much deeper hole to hold the batter and maybe this makes the cakes look "higher".

Pei Yi:
Taste not bad as it is not too sweet. I do not have sweet tooth:-)

Alice:
Thanks for your comment.
Great idea from you. Oven proof cups,I think it will produce a better outcome. Thanks yeah!
Juan Juan also loves cupcakes. I am sure she loves it coz mommy bake very nice cupcakes for her.
