I guess my title had clearly indicated that I’ve baked a “horrible” cake.
Yes, it’s a disaster. I was enthusiastic to try my hand on this Moist Chocolate Cake at first; followed the recipe well and I was so happy that I am able to control the temperature right this time without over-baked the top of the cake.
Everything seemed fine until I tasted the final outcome. It has a weird taste or as my husband put it – “taste artificial” a.k.a “plastic taste”. Of course, the cake ended up in the dustbin.
I still do not know what went wrong but I think I will not give a second trial on it (not until I “recovered” from this fatal blow).
