My (Merry) Christmas Tree

It’s beginning to feel a lot more like Christmas, I mean, ladies and gentlemen...this is our very first Christmas tree.

I was overjoyed once we decided to put a Christmas tree in our living room. I have to thanks Kristie for giving me advices in decorating the tree and where to shop for the ornaments; and finally we’ve got all the items in place.

Daddy has put up a great effort in setting up the tree, and I really like the way he bend and curve the branches to make it looks real. For me, I enjoy putting up ornaments the most!

The final outcome was awesome (to us) and we all love it. We are not a Christian officially, we just doing this to impressed Sarah, so we will make decorating Christmas tree a yearly tradition in the future.

Your Christmas tree looks very beautiful :-). We're not Christian too, but we too set up a Christmas tree and have presents, just for the kids to have fun. But this year, we did not light up the lights; HQ got sparked by it last year, so no more lights!

Cute Kyle. It is good that he picked up new vocab for this lovely season.
The next one, is new year. So, he would learn it too:-)
For Sarah, she will say it like.."A Mas Tree".

I like the environment in the last pic. Just imagine lazying on the sofa with your love ones, turning on the Christmas song and gazing at the lights on the Christmas tree. So comforting.

Sarah's Daddy and Mommy said...

Julie:
Me too. Actually we seldom on the yellow colour light. Our house is installed with white downlight and we prefer white than yellow. Hehe.
But just for the photo effect, we on the yellow light.
The Christmas tree really add a lot of atmosphere in the living hall. We like it.

I like the way sarah says christmas tree... so cute :) She sure learns fast!

Yes I just set mine up this morning, Jayden was very happy when he saw the lights! :) Don't let the packing/unpacking wear u down... do it for Sarah!

Wow! Your christmas tree is very big and nice. You did a good job in putting up the decoration!

Sarah's Daddy and Mommy said...

Kitty:
Thank you thank you.
For me, I love putting up decorations, no matter it is at the Xmas tree or the Chinese New Year "mei hua" tree.:-)

Kristie:
Hehe...I think Sarah is cute too when she is saying the word "A Mas Tree". But too bad, she is too afraid of Santa. Sigh.
Anyway, I am so happy that finally your beutiful Xmas tree has been up, and dont forget to post the photos yeah.
No matter it is a big or small tree, the lighting and decoration normally will be the things that attract kids.
So did Jayden kepoh kepoh about the decoration? I mean as to keep touching it? :-)

Kristie said...

Joanne... of cos Jayden was so 'kepoh' and 'helpful' hehehe, kept dropping the balls and I had to catch the bouncing balls! hehe... but he sure had fun and was really happy when we on the lights :) ya will blog abt it soon!

Dont worry, in time to come, Sarah will realise that Santa is actually a good guy! :)
