My name is “Era”

It was a great milestone when Sarah started to talk several months ago, it mean a lot to us; and she’s now trying to string few words together to form a short sentence. I feel so glad that I am able to communicate with her in more efficient way.

As expected, there’s bound to be some funny moment about it, just watch this…

She always called herself “Era”; that’s how she said her name when being asked. We tried to correct her many times but seem she’s still unable to pronounce her name correctly.

So, for the time being she will be “Era”.

Very cute! We also being impressed when Tina first try to say her name several month ago. I love to called her with her full name when I get mad so one day she say something to me sounds like "I am Tina"

But when we hear her few times..she actually say 'ain tina' for her name..

Era is not bad kan.. at least she know her name.. good job sarah!

Good job, Sarah!

Kids find it more difficult to pronounce some alphabets, like S, W, and Q. Soon Sarah will be able to pronounce "Sarah" alright!

Ya hor. I think she will definitely do that if I called her name wrongly..

Kylie, Kathy:
Hehe..What say you about her new name:-)

Serene, Wenn, BoeyJoey:
I guess so...But some of the S words she can said it quite well, for eg Sing.

For me, I also likes to let Sarah know about her full name. So normally I will ask her to complete her full name. I said "Sarah Chong Yun XX", then she will answered "En".
"Ain Tina"...Sounds good and unique too!:-)
Yalah, at least she knows how to answer when being asked her name.

Yes, it is fun to listen to her words.

Thanks for your encouragement.

Mommy Gwen:
"Gh-en" sounds so cute too! Yeap, looking forward for the day that she prounounce her name correctly.

Infact now, Sarah started to talk non-stop (mixed with her toddler words) during bed time.
Next time you video record some of Ryan's conversation with you, I wanna to hear his voice, sure cute!

It's jes a matter of time b4 she gets it right. It's funny when they start learning to talk. No matter how hard u try to correct them, they'll somehow pronounce some words wrongly. Then out of a sudden 1 day, they pronounce it perfectly.
