Fried Noodles

I read about Mery frying a delicious Air-Dried Noodles the other day, therefore I thought to do the same too. And what left inside my fridge were only some French Beans, eggs and Chinese Mushroom, so it will be my ingredients this time.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Outcome:

What do you think of the result? Looked too dry? I think so. Maybe I did not add enough water or oil…or I should have blanched the noodles with boiling water instead of soaking it with cold water before cooking.

Normally Sarah preferred noodles with soup, but surprisingly she also likes this one. She has eaten quite a lot. As for the leftover, all eaten by me (I should eat my own cooking, right?)

First time trying this noodle? Yummy yummy!!

May be next time should blanch the noodle with hot water but not too long.

Normally, this is what I do if I fried.

1.First prepared some ikan bilis soup.
2. Blanch the noodle with hot water (not too long, keep the noodle 'hard' a bit)
3. Prepare some eggs (cook then make slices)
4.Then started fried with red onion.
5. Put all ingredients(carrots, meat, mushroom etc) (except the noodle n eggs), then add in ikan bilis soup)
6. Put in seasoning like salt, soya souce, black soya source, pepper
7. when the water boil, put in the noodle then cover (let the noodle 'soak' the ikan bilis soup)
8. then put in the eggs, and some green onion n red chili for deco!!
9.Done...

Hehe, pai seh...This is my second attempt in frying noodles. My first one was fried Udon.
I just don't fried noodles well. I really do not master the skill.
You are such a great mommy, even prepare ikan bilis broth for just frying noodles, for me I lazy leh. I just use normal water. But agreed with you, if use ikan bilis broth, the noodles will taste better. Thanks for the tips.

Mommy Moon:
You like fried noodles? I am sure you are good cook with it.
