I smell the Spring

Sufficient to say, this will be the only decorations for our house this coming Chinese New Year.

When we were shopping at stationery shop this evening, we came across these CNY decorative items so we decided to make some changes to our old plant in the house.

After an hour of decor works, the final outcome is satisfying (for us). It is quite simple, but hopes this will beautify our house a bit, and bring in some “spring”.

This will be the second year we celebrating Chinese New Year with Sarah. Looking back, last year she was still a very innocent baby and too small to appreciate all the decorations; so we didn’t do it anyway.

Hopefully Sarah will be excited and happy when she sees the plant tomorrow morning.

I like the plant. It gives a very CNY atmosphere. I would love to get the pussy willow if I see one around. For now, only decorated the front door with CNY decor.

Haha.. I was opposte with you Joanne. Last year i did do some decorations because Xixi was still a tiny little baby who only sit and crawl. This year langsung no mood to decor cos i'm sure she will cabut all the "ding ding dong dong" from the tree or flower!
But anyway, your's looks great! I like it as in simple way, don't too complicated or else it will looks like a X'mas tree instead! haha..

Thanks to all mommies comment about the deco. Appreciated it very much.

Agnes and Doreen - Is it ar? The plant still looked dull ya? Maybe is the pic effect. Coz hor, in actual, the plant looked ok and sufficient with the deco items.
By the way, thanks for your suggestions.

Doreen - The plant is real one! We bought it together with the vast from Ikea. This is the first time we used it for CNY deco.

Yen Ping - So have you started to decorate anything at your home?

Esmeralda and Yugene - Actually we have this concern too that Sarah will touch all the deco items, so we put the plant on the staircase corner and the entrance to it has been blocked by safety gate. So Sarah could not reach it.

Queenie and Michelle - Thanks!

Kristie - Is it? You also saw it from shopping ya? I bought it sometime ago from Ikea.
- You are very detailed person, Kristie :-)
Actually I put the plant at the staircase corner.

Julie - Yes, Sarah likes it very much. Now when I ask her where is "mei mei", she will point to the plant.
- Looking forward for your house deco.

Kylie - Thanks for your wishes.
Happy CNY to you and your family too.

Fussy Mum - Looking forward for your house deco.

Olive - Thanks for your comment.
I also like pussy willow very much.

Sha - I know which type of flower that you mentioned, I love it too...my parent's house love to decorate using it.
- Yes, you are right...I think it will be a great thing if the decor can stay till end of the cny.
But for me, is ok...as I put it opp of a safety gate, so Sarah can't reach it.

Caroline - Thanks!
I am sure your house will look nice with the decor from you..looking forward for it.
