Tomato, Carrot and Chicken Porridge

Still remember previously I have prepared tomato porridge once but ended up in the dustbin? It was really a setback for me…

Since then, I have learned my lesson well. I was told that, to prevent the tomato porridge turn sour, I better add in some meat or other vegetable into the porridge.

Therefore, this time I have used carrot, chicken meat and not forget some red onion.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OUTCOME:

Surprise, surprise, the tomato porridge smelled something like…western food! If you were familiar with the aroma of spaghetti or pizza, this porridge got the exact smell like these food. I think the tomato and red onion did a wonderful job in turning this porridge into a delicious meal.

Sarah and I like it very much!

Footnote:
Small tips from me if you wish to try out this recipe -

The most important thing, deseed the tomato first, by this way the tomato will become sour-free.

You may put more chicken meat into the porridge, because it able to absorb all the nice taste from the other two ingredients. I guest this is also one of the reasons Sarah like this menu.

Yugene - hihi..
Sorry I have missed out an important point which is: you must always deseed the tomoto first in order to get rid of the sour taste.

another friend of my told me hoh, if the kid take too much of chicken stock base porridge will become hyper active one wor..

Another new menu for Sarah. I must try it next time. I didn't know that when u de-seed the tomatoes, it will be less sour-ish. Thanks for the info.

This is the easiest, yeah? Sometimes when I can't think of what to put in Jonathan porridge, this is what I will cook. I always make sure I have carrot and tomato in the fridge.

Hey, don't really know that meat can take away the sour taste and also the tomato seed gives sourness.

Yugene - OK, good luck in trying the menu.

Julie - Erm...for me, this is the most fragrant porridge, hehe..
So you also like to cook this to Jonathan. I am sure he will likes it.
- I also did not know should deseed until I have failed once in this recipe. Yes, I think all types of meat will bring sweetness to the porridge.

Esmeralda - Give a try and hope Ashton will like it. Yes, is better to deseed, so that the porridge will have nicer flavour.

Agnes - No la...all the ingredient not for one meal. Is for 3 days meal, and normally I will serve porridge twice in a day.
- Oo...kampung chicken is better ya? I did not know leh...but as you said, is quite hard to get it nowadays..
- I actually seldom cook chicken porridge to Sarah, but since have such saying from your fren, then I better feed her chicken porridge moderately..hehe..Thanks ya!

Su Ying and Kylie - Thanks!

Caroline - Ooo..you also cooked tomato porridge to Angel? So she likes it? What did you put inside the porridge?
- Yes, I think by putting some red onion, wil bring up more flavour.

Serene - Hehe..thanks for your compliment. Sometimes I also just try and error..

Mommy Gwen - Actually what I have displayed in the photos is for 3 days meal. So it looked alot.
