Snacks

Feel familiar with the lady in the picture? Yes, you are right; she is the SUN-MAID Girl.

I have bought Sarah the Sun-Maid Raisins. She just like this dried food very much. I have learnt from their website that it provides natural sugars, potassium, fiber and tartaric acid which able to keep digestive system healthy. Maybe this is one of the reasons why Sarah has no problem in passing stool since she started eating it.

It had now become our “secret weapon” to use whenever she behaved cranky.

P/S: Pardon me if this entry sounds like an advertisement for Sun-Maid Product.

And if u would like to try giving Sarah grapes, u can buy the seedless grapes for her so no need to be so "ma fan" lor.. LOL..

Rachel - Nevermind,if you wanna try, you may give half of the raisins and let him try, if he is able to chew and swallow, then maybe you can feed him moderately.
But you can always start it slow...

Esmeralda - Yalor, the seedless type of grape shall be fine, but I think I cant find it right here...

Oh.. so it's quite difficult to find seedless grapes over there? Or maybe not the season yet... but make sure don't buy if it's from China (u might be surprised if u find that China produced grapes..)

hmm, sad to say i have banned raisin & grape for chloe due to some bad experiences we encountered last time.

we let her tried LIGO/Sun-Maid raisin 2-3 months back and it actually cause her to cough very badly almost immediately!!! (i dont believed it was due to the raisin initially).

we let her tried fresh grape w/o skin next time also same case happened. she even vomit all out after awhile...

last try, dry raisin again and she vomit + cough... so, i have confirmed and banned this food for her apparently.

but she love and can tolerant quite well with real prunes wor.. (crack head)

i know every kid is different & unique... good that Sarah can digest it well ;)

Sun-Maid got sell in small box right? I prefer small box cos is easier to bring along. Can put inside the handbahg. When go outing also can let Sarah makan.. heheh =)

Sarah's Daddy and Mommy said...

Serene - Yes, it does. But my husband said this bigger box is selling at more a reasonable price, so he finally bought this lor..
But you are right, the smaller box is more easier to bring along. So now for me, each time I will put the raisins in a small tupperware.

MG - Thanks for your suggestions. I have added your blog into my blogroll.
Your kids dont like raisins...too sweet ya?

Sha - I wonder how many teeth that Tina has? For me, I will tear the raisin into half and feed Sarah. But these few days I noticed that she can chew it pretty well, so I feed it the whole raisin.
But is all depends on Tina, if she really cant chew it well, is better that you tear it into half.
Is it? Good for brain too? Then would you feed Tina with raisins?
