A Hectic Week

I have been missing in action (blogging) for several days. Actually I was busy with my sister’s wedding preparation. From Thursday onwards, I have started to get involved in this wedding. I helped her to clean the house. On Friday, busy with casual dinner preparation and yesterday (Saturday), was a hectic day for all of us.

We have three events on that day. Started with Chinese Tea Ceremony in the morning, and followed by church wedding in the afternoon. And night time was the groom’s side Indian dinner.

Throughout the day, Sarah only took a nap once and with the 1.5 hours morning nap, it definitely unable to keep her active for the rest for the day.

She was okay at the beginning of the session when we were in the church, but maybe due to the hot condition and lack of sleep, she started to get fussy. Anyway, she managed to stand until the dinner somehow.

At the dinner, initially she was quite excited when seeing the lighting and décor in the hall, but after a while, she showed her frustration. I was unable to make her sleep in the stroller. So end up, we have to leave the dinner early.

For me, this is a tough and tiring week; nevertheless it is a new experience (church wedding & Indian dinner) for all of us.

Yr sis looks so nice in the sari. Congratulations to the bride and groom! U dress up to the occasion too. Looks like an Indian costume u wearing there. Nice colour! Weddings are really boring for a young toddler. Gwen too will fuss when attending wedding functions.

Congrats to the bride & groom! The bride looks stunning in Sari. Also, you look lovely dressing up indian style!

Sarah is way much better than my Ryan. Ryan scared of the karaoke performance with loud speakers! He cried and didn't even want to go in the hall. We have to take turns taking care of him hanging out outside the hall.

CONGRATS TO YOUR SIS & YOUR BIL! She looked so radiant in the sari... U too look nice in the sari Joanne. Did u purposely go and make one too??? Haha... and not forgetting the little cute dot on your forehead, dunno what it's called lar.. Haha.. why u din put a dot on Sarah's forehead too? Bet she'll be cuter wid it. Haha.. In actual fact, I also brought Ashton to attend 2 consecutive wedding dinners starting Sat, and Sun too.. Depends on the bb high chair they provide us, Ashton will behave accordingly. When they provided us wid a very old bb high chair, Ashton didn't wanna sit on it for long. He wanna run around, got once they provided a very good quality, spacious bb high chair for Ashton, he can sit thru the dinner till the dish before dessert. Bringing our kids to wedding dinners is tiresome, but I think it's good to have them around..

Serene, Rachel, Kylie - Thanks for the wishes.

Caroline - Haha...dont laugh at me. That was the first time I wear punjabi suit.
- I also think my sister looked good on that night. Her saree, her make up and accessories do make her like a "perfect indian woman", hehe.
- I have no choice to bring Sarah with me, hehe. Yes, I think when you bring Angel to your bro's wedding, then you might experience the tiredness. But hope that she has enuf sleep on that day, so she will enjoy the dinner.

Esmeralda - Thanks for your wishes. This is not the first time my sis is wearing saree, but for me, it was the first time experience in wearing punjabi suit. Actually my other 3 sisters have planned to wear indian costume to the dinner, so my sister is so nice to buy each of us one.
Anyway, feeling shy with your compliment. Coz I think I just look ok ok with the punjabi suit.
- The little dot is called bindi. It is also from my sister. Ya hor, I never think of putting the bindi on Sarah's forehead. Ai seh! But tat day I was really busy dressed up myself, so end up, Sarah looked more cin cai. Haha.
- What a coincidence, you also brought Ashton to dinner. Is tiredsome right!
Thats why I said, Ashton more enjoy " high class" lifestyle, therefore, he enjoyed sitting in nice quality high chair. Hehe.

Doreen - Thanks for your wishes.
Feeling pai seh with your compliment, hehe. First time wearing the punjabi suit..
- Last time Sarah also scared with loud noise in the hall, but that day she was just ok. I also wonder why...

Mommy Gwen - Thanks for your wishes.
Hehe, yes, I am! Coz the punjabi suit was a gift for my sister. So I intentionally dress up to be like that, haha.
- Yes, it will be frus for the toddler coz they can find much entertainment during the dinner.

I see.. A "bindi".. Don't worry. Next time u can play "dress-up" wid Sarah, and don't forget the "bindi" this time. Bet she'll look so cute, coz she's so fair! Yes bringing Ashton to wedding dinners/formal dinners is quite tiring. Ashton is really a "tan sai kai" boy!

Esmeralda - Haha..sure, next time I will definitely put a bindi on Sarah's forehead.
Thanks for your compliment anyway.
