Tofu, tofu and more tofu

This is what Sarah had for today…

Tofu with marmite and anchovies powder

Outcome: She was not so favour to it. Maybe she just woke up from her nap. Not so much appetite yet. But I like it very much..

Tofu with mash sweet potato

Outcome: This is slightly better. She can finish almost the whole meal.

Tofu with gravy

Outcome: I have cooked tofu with gravy and pork for me and my husband’s dinner. Since recently Sarah started to eat rice, so I just put in some gravy to the rice and feed her. She likes it!

What a TO-FULL day!

Wah .... looks so yummy. I like the last dish the most coz even looks yummy for us adults leh :) But until now, I still haven't let Angel try the tofu yet coz my mom won't let me. She said the tofu is mixing with some 'ingredient' (something like 'peng sa') as to make it becomes hard which is not good for bb wor, don't know how true is that so whenever I want to buy, she won't let me :(

Yes, it is my all time favourite food.
- About Philip's skin colour, nevermindlah, as long as he has healthy body, then OK!

Mommy Gwen - Good that Gwen also likes tofu. So normally how do you prepare it? Mind to share?

Julie - Yes, the sweet taste of the sweet potato add extra flavour to the tofu.
Tofu with fish, good idea. Will try this recipe next time. Thanks!

Esmeralda - Ya, nowadays when we dining in restaurant, we also will order a tofu dish for Sarah.
Woww, Ashton has "high class" taste ya..like japanese food. So, do you cook miso sup for him?

Sha - Yes, I mean rice or nasi. Sarah can chew them, so I started to feed some for her.
Thanks for your comment about the dish.
Tina also likes tofu? How do you serve it?

Kylie - Sarah started to eat rice since last week, when my mom fed her with rice. She just eat it like how we adult eat it. Maybe she likes the texture.
- What i meant anchovies powder is, blended ikan bilis powder.

Serene - Nolah, I also cracked my head alot when thinking about what to cook for Sarah..hehe..
- Yalor, coz one whole box of tofu is a bit too much them. Thats why, I have my "to- full" day..:-)

Caroline - Hehe, I also like the last dish, coz it has a strong aroma from the fried minced pork. Nice!
- Yes, I think what your mom said is right. I also heard and know about it. But for me, I think should be ok if feeding tofu moderately.
Thanks ya!

Vivi - Hehe.. good for skin hor..
Yes, is not good to eat it daily. Thanks!

Joanne.. Haha... Actually I think we are the one having high-class food, that's why causing him to like high-class food. Sometimes I do cook miso soup (also for him) when I cook some japanese food for dinner like broiled eel & miso soup. But I don't let him drink so much. Just few teaspoons coz it's quite salty.

Esmeralda - Oo..so the mommy and daddy are the high class food eater, ok no wonder..
But ok lah, so that Ashton get the opp to taste alot of high-class food.

Violet - I also hope that Sarah's skin will become smooth and white like pearl.
Thanks, we all are great moms.

Joanne, for the tofu I cook like what we would normally eat coz Gwen is eating our kind of food already. Sometimes, I fried the tofu or steam it first. Then, I cook the minced chicken, mushrooms and green peas with some oyster sauce(i use the one without MSG) and abit of sugar, salt and pepper for seasoning.

By the way, I have another award for u : http://mummygwen.blogspot.com/2008/09/i-love-your-blog.html
