Mickey Mouse

Recently, we noticed that Sarah showing interest to Mickey Mouse, especially its theme song. She will "pause" her current action when she sees the advertisement of Mickey Mouse. Therefore, I have the idea of downloading this video from You-Tube and play the song for her if she feels moody and bored.

Pumpkin WeekS

Today's menu is pumpkin porridge. I have introduced pumpkin and AGAIN pumpkin to her, because I have the extra of it in my fridge. So, I was thinking not to waste it...
I hope she wont feel bored of eating the same food again and again.

New Hair Cut

This afternoon, Sarah had her new hair cut. It was done by the daddy. This is not the 1st time daddy is cutting her hair..Since Sarah has curly and thick hair, so is alright for him to cut it without any special skills. Hehe.

I am so satisfied with her new look, although she look like boy boy now. It was cut so nicely. Now, i think she will look more tidy and comfortable with the shorter hair.

One fine day at the park (Backdated post)

Yesterday evening, we just thought to bring Sarah to park. All the while, we have been bringing her to park but this time, we have the idea of bringing the camera along. So, immediately after she woke up from her short nap, we quickly set the stroller and bring her to the park. Maybe she was still feeling sleepy, she was so quiet throughout the whole journey. As you can see from the pic, she was literally emotionless. But my husband was so excited to take all these pictures. Enjoy!

"Daughter Daughter, Pumpkin Eater...."

The title of this post was originally from Sarah's nursery song CD. Everyday, listen to the song for at least one time, that is why thinking to put it as a title for Sarah's Today Menu.

After she had her dried scallop porridge for 4 days, today I will be introducing pumpkin puree. I think she will like it because it has a sweet taste.

Daddy's Girl

Sarah is definitely "Daddy's Girl". It can be interpreted in 2 ways..

1) The daddy always dotes on her, coddling and protecting her. Sometimes when Sarah is showing her crankiness, I will be the bad mommy who will be scolding her. Then the daddy will be the person, whispering at her ears.."heyy, mommy is angry now..you don't make her angry ya..". So, he will be the good daddy!

2)She will feel extremely happy every time she sees her daddy coming home. The moment the car driving in to the car posh, she will started to smile (Left), and once she found out that the person is his daddy...LAGI SMILE!!! (Right)
Maybe she is seeing me everyday, so she has no respond and reaction at all when she sees me coming back from market or somewhere. SAD :-(

I think is good to be "Daddy's Girl", at least I can still have time to do my house chores, while she is with the daddy.

Baby Monitor is here

Yahooo!! Finally our baby monitor is here. After the incident of "Scared Me", we have decided to buy a baby monitor to keep an ear on Sarah when we are not with her, especially when she is sleeping.

We have ordered the baby monitor from online, and in fact the online shopping was our 1st time experience.

Just now, we have put it on trial session. Of course using the old kind method, like my husband said: "testing testing 123" from upstairs and I will see whether his sound could be hear from downstairs....Is funny and fun while testing it.

I hope by having this equipment, we need not to consistently go upstairs to check whether Sarah has sleep soundly.

Good Appetite

Yesterday evening, Sarah's appetite has slowly change back to normal, and today we are so happy to see that she can finished 4 oz of milk in just few minutes. She was asking for milk even had her porridge.

I think she might not having teething..She might just had low appetite.

Tomorrow, we will try to increase her milk from 4 oz (normal feeding) to 4 1/2 or 5 oz. We thought to do this for a long long time, but every time just the day we want to increase it, she will be either fall sick or some other reasons, that makes us have to cancel the thought. Hopefully, tomorrow our plan will be successfully execute!!

Getting Busy and BUSIER!

Lately, I do not have much time to maintain my blog. The reason is, BUSY.......

I think Sarah is having teething problem again. She only want to drink a little amount of milk, and that also I need to sing for her to finish it. From 4 oz of milk, now have to reduce to 2 oz. So, we have no choice other than to add her milk with cereal and seems like she loves this combination.

She also getting very cranky and fussy! She will be crying for just a small matter, and always want me to carry her. Hmmm....Is really tiring!! But what to do, I just need to bear with her during this teething period, because I think it is truly uncomfortable for her in this time.

Besides all the above mentioned reason, I can foresee I will be getting busier because ...
I have sent her photo for an online baby contest. So, today her photo has been selected. To win the weekly prize, I have to get as many vote as I can. So, since this is the 1st time participate in such a contest, sure very excited! No matter she will be winning or losing, but is just a matter of "trying my best". So, I am busy email all my forum friends, my relatives and siblings, and also my friends to vote for her.

Day time, I was busy with her "fussiness", and after she went to bed, I will busy with her vote!

Such a busy mommy!

Anyway, for those who has voted, thank you so much, and those who have yet to vote, please vote for her. Thanks in advance.

Forgot to update...

Hmm..I am so forgetful. Just busy with putting up Sarah's photos in the frame, till forgotten to update my blog about her new food.

Four days ago, I have plannned another menu for her, porridge with carrot and potato. Of course not forget too, the blended ikan bilis to be added to the porridge once it is ready to be served.

Actually, this is the 2nd time I cook porridge for her, but this time with vege. She just loves it! She can eat almost 2 plate in a day.

Besides porridge, I also tried to feed her banana for the first 2 days. She doesnt like it!! I think I have to think of another fruit.

Tomorrow I will be giving her cauliflower puree. I am keeping my fingers crossed...

Actually, we got this "My First Year" photo frame from my second sis and her bf as Sarah's full month gift.

Until yesterday, after the photos has been processed, only we managed to put it into the frame.

The photos only update until 6th month, so it will be an unfinished task for us....

Photo Output

Since Sarah was born, I just love to snap photos. Sometimes she just know how to pose great posses and smile infront of the camera. This is the main reason that I have taken more than 1000 shots in my camera.

Yesterday, my husband finally managed to select the best among them all and sent for processing. Just now, we managed to get those photos which have been processed.

Erm, we are not quite satisfied with the quality of the photos (some of the photo not seems real). We are not sure whether is the photo shop's fault or we to blame as the photo taker....

"Video Galore"

Within a day, I have taken 5 videos for Sarah. She seems like knew that I am video recording her, she was looking at the camera through the process.

"Is she singing or angry?"

"She was kicking my tummy when I was video recording her, Ouch!"

"laugh, laugh and laugh.."

Getting bored with the Baby Walker

Today is already the 4th day she tried sitting on baby walker. She started to feel bored with it. Maybe she is a lazy baby. Lazy to use her leg to "walk" the baby walker. She just used to sleeping comfortably on bouncer or leaning comfortably in my arm when I carry her. So, this time when needs her own effort and energy, she gets lazy.

When I video recording her this afternoon for about 1 min, she just stayed on the same position, without moving a step!

She likes it VERY VERY MUCH!

Today she has eaten 3 plates of sweet potato puree. So happy to see her enjoyed eating it. Hope that she will keep this "good job" for the following 3 days, and wont get bored over the "orangey food".

"She look excited when eating the puree"

Scared me : - (

Normally I will put Sarah to sleep about 8 to 9pm. After she has slept, I will come down stairs and do some house chores and surf net. But since nobody with her on the bed, so I will put some pillow circling around the bed, just to avoid any incident of falling down from the bed.

And what happen was, just now i heard she cried. I rushed to my room and I saw her on a cribbing position. This is the 1st time she is doing it. Normally she will only roll over and crib in the morning when I am around (Since she is a still in the learning process). When I saw her like that, I was so shocked!!!

Finally, she has slept after had her milk and lullaby...

I think from tomorrow onwards, I will be putting more pillow and mattress under the bed. Just in case!!

New Food Again??

Yes, I will be introducing another new food to Sarah tomorrow. Normally she will be eating the "new food" for 4 days time, then I will think of another menu for her.

Tomorrow menu is Sweet Potato Puree. Actually, I have faced some difficulties in blending it, but after all, i think it is worth it as the food is so nutritious for her. I hope she will like it! Very excited to see her first reaction towards the new food.

After all the "midnight oil" I've burnt, finally my blog has published this evening. The 1st two person that I have informed to viewed it before others are Yen Ping (MP Friend) and my second sister. Our Beutiful Girl

A beutiful song. The lyrics are meaningful, especially the chorus..

"No one no one no one
Can get in the way of what I'm feeling
No one no one no one
Can get in the way of what I feel for you
You you
Can get in the way of what I feel for you"

Another Solid Food Introduced ...

Besides Dumex Cereal, Porridge, Carrot Puree, Potato Puree (Left) and Brocolli Puree (Middle), yesterday I introduced her Apple Puree (Right). Is my mistake that did not taste the apple before hand, the result was the blended puree was SOUR!! So, came out an idea to mixed it with Dumex Cereal. She still ate it, but unable to finished all.

Anyway, tomorrow I will be still feeding her Apple Puree, but this time will be more tasty to eat coz it has sweet taste. Tasted it earlier...Hope she likes it.

"I think she loves the food I have prepared for her"

First Tooth

This morning, to my surpise, i found out that Sarah has two lower centre teeth. The tooth are so white and transparent in colour. The tooth looks big and sharp!! I think it has been growing for quite some time.

Two months ago, we thought that she was on the teething period because she likes to bite things. That time, I started to surf on the net about the teething info. Who knows, we got it wrong!!! She has no teeth at ALL.

Then, my attention has started to focus more on how and what to prepare for her solid food. Maybe I was too busy with that, till I have missed the moment of seeing the white dots (the teeth)growing.

Anyway, she is now moving to the another growing phase...
Growing teeth is just the 1st phase. Looking forward for more surprise from her.

Baby Walker

My husband suggested to let Sarah to sit on baby walker. I still doubt she can do it, because she cant really sit up straight yet, but i think no harm for a try.

When my husband started to install the walker, she looking at it and seems like she really wants to sit on it. So, finally I put her in. At first, she was not so comfortable on it. After a minute, she started to use her hand to hit the walker armrest. Then, her legs started to move the walker to backwards. Next, she is so expert in it, till she can do "circling", round and round....round and round...

After that, we left her in the living room doing the "circling" while I go to kitchen to prepare her food. I think she was alone in the walker for only about 10 minutes, she shouted for "help"...Wanted us to carry her up. She doesnt want to stay in there! End up my husband gotto carry her...

"Always like to laugh and play ... although in the baby walker"

Bank Account and Car Seat

Yesterday morning, I went to Maybank to open an account for Sarah. I left her with my husband at home.

After settled the matter, when I tried to start my car engine, it can't be start!! Immediately after that, I called my husband. He said he will come and fetch me home.

At that point of time, I was thinking, how would he bring along Sarah?

Finally I saw my husband came with Sarah and she was sitting in the car seat for the 1st time. She seems like enjoying herself and not even to bother me...I was so shocked being told that she was nicely behave through the whole journey. Seeing her so cute in the car seat makes me feel so happy and almost forgot the broken car!!

Chinese New Year's Clothes and Ang Pao $$ (Backdated Post)

Guess what, I never put on any skirt or dress for Sarah since she was born. So, during this year CNY, we have bought her 2 sets of dresses. Woww..she looks so cute and pretty with dress! Her aunties, grandpa and grandma gave good compliment when she is in the dress.

This year was also her first year receiving ang pao. Quite a lot she got! What I wish to highlight here is, she got two special ang pao among all, which was from me and her daddy. It is special because we wrapped it using the traditional chinese red packet, and we did put some message on it!

Initially, we have the idea of gather all her collected ang paos until she reaches 12 years old or 18 years old, then only open. But we also afraid that IF our house being break in (touch wood), then all her ang pao will GONE!! So, i decided to save it at bank.
